2025 IIHF U-18 Men's World Championship Information
The 2025 IIHF U-18 Men's World Championship is a 10-nation tournament featuring the best men's players in the world under the age of 18. Teams will be divided into two groups with each country playing the other four teams in its corresponding group. During the preliminary rounds, all teams in Group A will play solely at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas while all Group B matchups will be held at Comerica Center for the entirety of the tournament. The top four teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, with the winners playing in the semifinals on May 2 in Frisco, Texas. The bronze and gold medal matches will be held at Comerica Center on May 3 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively.
The IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship has been held in the United States on three previous occasions, most recently in 2021 in Frisco and Plano, Texas. Additionally, the U.S. hosted the 2016 tournament in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and the 2009 tournament in Fargo, North Dakota, and Moorhead, Minnesota.
