Compete 4 Cause Classic Combines Competition + Community in Frisco & New Orleans
Frisco, TX (October, 8 2024) - United Sports & Entertainment (@USportsEnt) will bring high-level college basketball with a great cause to Frisco (TX) and New Orleans (LA) with Compete 4 Cause Classic (@Compete4Cause) hoops series. The first leg of the 2-year neutral site series will take place Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Comerica Center in Frisco while Smoothie King Center in New Orleans will play host to the early-season event in 2025.
Compete 4 Cause Classic will feature a highly competitive match-up between Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) newcomer, the SMU Mustangs, taking on the LSU Tigers from the Southeastern Conference (SEC). First-year Mustangs Head Coach, Andy Enfield, takes over on the Hilltop bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record of winning after leading the Southern Cal Men’s Basketball Program for the past eleven seasons. LSU Head Coach, Matt McMahon, has assembled a deep and talented roster as the Tigers look to build on last season’s strong finish and NIT berth.
The backdrop for Compete 4 Cause Classic will be rooted in service, inspiring the participating student-athletes to use their notoriety and influence to impact the lives of children in the local community. United Sports & Entertainment in connection with Compete 4 Cause Classic will partner with local community organizations in Frisco and New Orleans to provide enriching activities that will greatly impact underprivileged kids and be a rewarding experience for the student-athletes and universities.

Pre-sale tickets for Compete 4 Cause Classic will be available this Thursday, October 10th, at 10:00 AM CST, while public on-sale is set for Friday, October 11th, at 10:00 AM CST.
